Semi-martingales and rough paths theory

چکیده
Abstract: We prove that the theory of rough paths, which is used to define path-wise integrals and path-wise differential equations, can be used with continuous semi-martingales. We provide then an almost sure theorem of type Wong-Zakai. Moreover, we show that the conditions UT and UCV, used to prove that one can interchange limits and Itô or Stratonovich integrals, provide the same result when one uses the rough paths theory.

Designing a system with an emphasis on minimal human intervention helps users to explore information quickly. Adverting to methods of analyzing large data is compulsory as well. Hence, utilizing power of the data mining process to identify patterns and models become more essential from aspect of relationship between the various elements in the database and discover hidden knowledge. Therefore, ...
متن کاملThe Burkholder-Davis-Gundy Inequality for Enhanced Martingales
Multi-dimensional continuous local martingales, enhanced with their stochastic area process, give rise to geometric rough paths with a.s. finite homogenous p-variation, p > 2. Here we go one step further and establish quantitative bounds of the p-variation norm in the form of a BDG inequality. Our proofs are based on old ideas by Lépingle. We also discuss geodesic and piecewise linear approxima...
متن کاملA tree approach to p-variation and to integration
We consider a real-valued path; it is possible to associate a tree to this path, and we explore the relations between the tree, the properties of p-variation of the path, and integration with respect to the path. In particular, the fractal dimension of the tree is estimated from the variations of the path, and Young integrals with respect to the path, as well as integrals from the rough paths t...

متن کاملRough sets theory in site selection decision making for water reservoirs
Rough Sets theory is a mathematical approach for analysis of a vague description of objects presented by a well-known mathematician, Pawlak (1982, 1991). This paper explores the use of Rough Sets theory in site location investigation of buried concrete water reservoirs. Making an appropriate decision in site location can always avoid unnecessary expensive costs which is very important in constr...
